Weiss started out as a sceptical psychiatrist, when, as often happens, he was confronted with spontaneous past life recall. Informative and well written, with loads of case histories. Also some advice on how to do PLR yourself.

The Story of Edgar Cayce: There Is a River

A riveting book! Edgar Cayce was a dedicated and sincere Christian who made it his aim in life to help people. He had to change many of his fundamentalist ideas when, under trance, he had access to supreme knowledge and many people were healed in amazing ways by following his advice. He talks about reincarnation and past life, as well as Jesus, creation and much more. If you want to know the real purpose of our lives, this is the book to read.
